That’s where JJ and Alison live. Most of what they shoot is candid, and all of it is composed with care. Natural color, honest light, and a finished quality that makes the real moments look as good as they felt.
MEET JJ & ALISON
JJ and Alison are the husband-and-wife duo leading our photography team. With over a decade of experience and more than 500 couples photographed, they bring an incredible eye for light, composition, and the moments that make each wedding unique.
Their photography is candid, colorful, and beautifully composed, with a natural, timeless quality that we love.
Just as importantly, they're genuinely fun people to have around. They're relaxed, easygoing, and know how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. They take their work seriously, but never themselves.
High school sweethearts, 20+ years in
JJ and Alison have three kids, three dogs, a flock of opinionated chickens, and more than a decade photographing weddings. It started with an old 35mm camera from a yard sale and a habit of documenting their own adventures. Five hundred couples later, it’s still what they love.
JJ is an old soul, a classic Porsche enthusiast, a collector of bolo ties, and the person who gets to the airport three hours early.
Alison is a Diet Coke loyalist, a thrifter, deeply sentimental, and terrified of moths.
They’re the kind of people you’ll be glad were in the room.

A lot of wedding photography makes you choose. Editorial and polished, or candid and loose. JJ and Alison don’t see it that way.
Their work has the polish of a magazine spread and the heartbeat of a home movie. Portraits are composed, unhurried and flattering.
