Archer Weddings was founded in 2020 when Nicho Ader turned a passion project into a career, while studying documentary filmmaking at the University of Vermont.

After filming his own brother’s wedding, he saw how powerful wedding films could be when they authentically reflect a couple’s unique personalities.

He soon brought on his teammate David Perez-Caviedes, who had spent a decade capturing high-end weddings in Spain, and the rest of the team: Nia, Scott, Jack, Vadym, and supporting crew — each bringing their own expertise.

Before Archer, our team members sharpened their craft in editorials, Sundance-winning films, Netflix documentaries, and other high-level productions, allowing us to approach wedding filmmaking with a unique blend of technical skill and creativity.

Together, we’ve become a top-ranked wedding video company, serving couples across New England, NYC, and beyond.

In 2026, we expanded our offerings to include photography. To lead this new venture, we’ve brought on JJ and Allison, a talented married duo of photographers, whose artistry perfectly complements our cinematic storytelling approach.
